"We are descendants of tribal people who were spiritually alive, intimately in love with the natural world, children of Mother Earth. When we were tribal people we knew who we were , we knew where we were and we knew our purpose. This sacred perception of reality remains alive and well in our genetic memory. We carry it inside us."

Meet the founder
How I was inspired to start and teach mindful practices
Hi, I'm Macy! Welcome to my jungle gym!
I founded Macy Yoga in 2020 when covid shut down our studios.
Despite growing up in Georgia, I moved to Colorado in 2018 and now reside in Maui, HI!
It is my passion and aim to teach yoga and expressive movements to unlock hidden treasure inside all of us.
This space is lovingly called a jungle gym because our minds can sometimes feel like wild jungles. Through the disciplined practices I offer in this online "gym," you'll discover the balance between taming and embracing your wild side.
I started practicing yoga at 19 and completed my 500-hour RYT yoga training by the age of 22. Since then, yoga has become a central aspect of my life. Following my divorce in 2020, I found solace in Breath-work and Ecstatic Dance, allowing me to rediscover and embrace aspects of myself that grief had obscured.
A major focus of mine is to help others navigate through their grief in a holistic, playful manner.
With every cell in my being I know we can heal ourselves through mindful practices such as the ones offered on this platform and through reconnection with nature.
Using the Elements as the foundation of my teachings allows us to find solace within ourselves and with Mother Nature.
Welcome :)
